Frequently asked questions
What print sizes are available?
My prints are generally available in A4, A3 and A2 sizes. These standard formats are chosen to suit a wide range of spaces and allow for easy framing.
If you're looking for something more specific, certain artworks can also work well as custom sizes, including square formats. Please get in touch if you have something in mind, I’d be happy to talk through the options and advise on what would work best for the piece.
Are your prints framed or unframed?
All prints are sold unframed, allowing you the flexibility to choose a frame that best suits your space. If you’d like guidance on framing options or presentation, I’m always happy to help with recommendations.
Does my print need to be mounted?
Mounting is not required, but it can enhance the presentation and help protect the artwork when framing. It’s entirely a personal choice depending on the look you want to achieve. If you’re unsure, I’m happy to offer guidance based on the print you’ve chosen and how you plan to display it.
How do I look after my art?
To keep your artwork in the best possible condition, it’s important to display it away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and areas of high humidity.
Framing behind glass or acrylic will help protect the surface from dust, moisture and handling. If your piece is unframed, storing it flat in a clean, dry space is recommended until it is ready to be framed.
Avoid touching the surface of the artwork directly, as natural oils from hands can cause damage over time. For cleaning, simply dust the frame gently with a soft, dry cloth, never use water or cleaning products on the artwork itself.
With the right care, your artwork will remain beautiful for many years to come.
Do you accept commissions?
Yes. Lise creates bespoke commissions of people, pets and memorial portraits, as well as wildlife and other subjects. If you're considering a commission, please visit the Commissions page for more information about the process, pricing and how to get started.
How much does a custom commission cost?
The cost of your commission will depend on the size, canvas and complexity of your request. I offer set prices from £190 for one or two subjects onto set canvas sizes or can happily create a custom quote for additional subjects, custom sizes, memorial portraits, and multi-person commissions, please get in touch.
